Don’t forget to check the electrolyte level before usage for correct electrode function ability. It will encourage maximum performance of the electrode by guaranteeing adequate head pressure to keep the liquid junction flowing.

If the level is low, select the proper electrolyte solution compatible with the electrode and top up as required. Some electrolyte solutions are available in US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant bottles. (Scroll down for more information).

HI-7076 is a fill solution containing 1M Sodium Chloride (NaCl) for use in Potassium Ion Selective Electrodes.

The Sodium Chloride fill solution is manufactured specifically for the HI-4114 double junction polymer membrane potassium ISE and for the HI-5315 double junction reference when used with the HI4014 polymer membrane half-cell. The solution is ideal for users who do not calibrate often.

Top-up your double junction electrode as required.
