HI-766PE1 Plug-in general purpose K-type thermocouple probe, 154 x 3mm. The HI-766PE1 is a general purpose, penetration K-type thermocouple probe designed for use with the HI-766HD probe handle and thermocouple thermometer.
The round, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of a wide variety of liquid, air, and gas samples.
The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the substance being measured. The HI-766PE1 round, pointed tip construction offers a speedy 6-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900°C (1650°F).
