About the equipment included:

The HI-98131 is a slim, lightweight, and waterproof pocket tester that measures pH, conductivity, TDS and temperature. This versatile pocket meter is designed for hydroponics, greenhouse and agriculture applications.

The meter operation is simplified with two buttons. One is used for on/off and for calibration while the other is used to switch between the measurement modes. The HI-98131 has advanced features including a selectable EC to TDS conversion factor (0.5 - 500 ppm and 0.7 - 700 ppm).

The HI-98131 GroLine tester features a large multi level LCD which displays both pH, EC or TDS and temperature readings simultaneously. The pH readings are displayed with a 0.01 resolution, while the EC and TDS readings are displayed with a 0.01 mS/cm and 10 ppm (mg/L) resolution.

An exposed temperature sensor allows for rapid temperature compensated measurements of EC and TDS. The LCD screen has indicators for calibration status and stability. The battery percent level is displayed at start up alerting the user to the remaining battery power that is available.

The HI-96801 is used across the food industry for measuring the concentrations of general purpose sugars in foods.

Quick and easy to use it is ideal for analysing the sugar content in a wide range of food products including fruit, energy drinks, puddings, tofu, jams, honey, soups and sauces.

The HI-96801 measures the refractive index to determine the % Brix of sugar in aqueous solutions. The refractive index of the sample is then converted to % Brix concentration units.

HI-7061M is a general purpose cleaning solution which can be used for a variety of applications. Electrodes become dirty from use and will produce inaccurate results even if they read correctly in a pH buffer. HANNA’s cleaning solutions eliminate impurities and residues which are left on electrode surfaces when immersed in samples during measurement or when stored incorrectly. You can also choose from our specialist list of cleaning solutions for one more suitable for your needs (purchased separately).

HI-70300M is a storage solution prepared with reagent grade chemicals which can be used to ensure maximum performance of your pH and ORP electrodes.

After cleaning your electrode with one of our wide range of cleaning solutions, rinse with tap water, then soak the electrode in Hanna specially formulated Storage Solution (HI-70300 or HI-80300) before taking measurements. pH 4.01 or pH7.01 buffer solution can be used if Storage Solution is running low.

Between measurements, storage solutions minimise microbial growth and prevent any effects of diffusion and Osmosis, as well as keeping the sensor tip and reference junction hydrated and clear – all important for an optimum response time and measurement.

Air-tight bottles with tamper-proof seals ensure quality and freshness of storage solution. Each bottle is marked with a batch number and expiry date.
