HI-93703-56 Cuvettes and Glycerol for Food Colour Grading Portable Photometers
HI-93703-56
Kit comprises 90 matched square cuvettes, 30ml of glycerol and (2) 5 ml syringes. The kit will perform an average of 75- 80 tests.
Hanna offers two portable photometers for the grading of maple syrup and honey. The HI-96759 Maple Syrup portable photometer and HI-96785 Honey colour analyser are used to compare the transmittance of light of a glycerol reference standard to the respective sample. Both the HI-96759 and HI-96785 use 10 mm sample cuvettes and are calibrated to 100% transmittance with a glycerol standard.
The HI-96759 is a handheld maple syrup transmittance analyser that has a tungsten lamp with a narrow band interference filter to isolate the 560 nm wavelength. This photometer uses a 10 mm sample cuvettes and is calibrated to 100% transmittance with a Glycerol standard. All samples are compared to the glycerol standard and readings are displayed as % transmittance.
The HI-96785 is a handheld honey transmittance analyser that has a tungsten lamp with a narrow band interference filter to isolate the 420 and 525 nm wavelengths of light. This photometer uses a 10 mm sample cuvettes and is calibrated to 100% transmittance with a Glycerol standard. All samples are compared to the glycerol standard and readings are displayed as Pfund.
