The Hanna HI-1048B series of pH electrodes is designed to overcome the problems of junction clogging during use. It has a special anti-clogging collar to prevent any problems when measuring wine or must.

HI-1048B pH Electrode for Wine Measurements

The HI-1048B is a glass bodied, refillable, sleeve junction pH electrode with a BNC connector. The electrode features a double junction reference, Hanna’s Clogging Prevention System (CPS) technology and spherical glass sensing bulb made with general purpose glass.

This pH electrode is ideal for wine must and juice due to their high solids content which would clog a standard general purpose pH electrode.

BNC Connection – BNC is one of the most commonly used connector types in pH meters and electrodes. Compatible with any meter or electrode that uses BNC connectors.
