HI-38041 Iron tests kits - High Range
HI-38041
The HI-38041 is a high range iron chemical test kit with checker disc.
Iron concentration in natural water is typically below 1 mg/L (ppm), but the level can be much higher due to industrial discharges. Checker disk method. Range (0.00-1.00 mg/L) Low range. Range (0.0-5.0 mg/L) Medium range. Range (0.0-10.0 mg/L) High range.
High Range Iron Test Kit
The HI-38041 is a colorimetric chemical test kit that determines the total iron concentration with a 0.0 to 10.0 mg/L (ppm) range.
In domestic water, iron can unpleasantly alter the taste, stain laundry, damage kitchenware and favour the growth of certain bacteria. Iron is also an indicator of on-going corrosion in industrial plants or in water cooling and heating systems. Moreover, iron is normally monitored in mining wastewater to avoid contamination.
The HI-38041 is supplied with all of the necessary reagents and equipment to perform the analysis. The test kit contains enough reagents to perform approximately 100 tests.
- All required materials are included with the test kit, such as the glass vials, plastic pipette, reagent packets, and Checker® disc
- Readings from 0.0 to 10.0 mg/L are determined to 0.2mg/L resolution
- Replacement reagents available – HI-38041-100
Supplied with
- 100 packets of iron reagent
- 500 mL deionised water
- Checker disc
- Glass vials with caps
